1 cup sour cream
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 salt
3 tablespoons cocoa, (I think)
1/2 cup raisins, soaked in hot water
2 1/4 cups flour, “enough to make batter”
1/4 cup molasses
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to “350ish.” Bake as regular cake, 45 minutes in square tin. Cover with butter frosting.
