Gramma Boekman’s Rum Pie
- 1 package cream pie filling (cooked and cooled)
- 1 baked pie crust
- 1/4 cup nuts (chopped, at least)
- 1/4 cup dates (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon rum extract
- Mix nuts, dates, and extract with pie filling.
- Pour into 9″ pre-baked pie shell
- Chill and serve with whipped cream
Notes: I don’t think that anyone makes a cream pie filling mix, so use Jell-o “Cook & Serve” Vanilla Pie Filling mix.
