Banana Nut Bread
- 1 3/4 cups flour (sifted)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup banana (over-ripe and mashed)
- 1/2 cup walnuts (chopped)
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Cream together margarine and sugar.
- Add the eggs and beat.
- Sift the dry ingredients and add with the bananas.
- Stir in the walnuts.
- Bake in a loaf pan, 40-45 minutes.
- Remove from pan and cool on a rack.
