1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup milk
1 cup raisins
3 cups oats
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift together dry ingredients. Beat all other ingredients except raisins and oats together and gradually add the flour mixture. Stir in raisins and oats and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
